È arrivato il momento di varcare il confine svizzero, alla scoperta di alcune delle strade più iconiche del vecchio continente, famose in tutto il mondo per essere state sfondo di numerose e leggendarie scene cinematografiche. Poco importa se la superficie del Paese è ridotta, perché la fortuna di trovarsi letteralmente immersa nell’arco alpino offre la possibilità di percorrere una serie indefinita di curve mozzafiato comprimendo le distanze di avvicinamento da un passo ad un altro e rendendo l’esperienza di guida ancora più intensa.

Per questo nuovo volume abbiamo operato una scelta che ha messo d’accordo cuore e cervello, dando massima priorità all’alta quota, aspetto che più di ogni altro caratterizza la Svizzera. In aggiunta, un po’ come se fosse un bonus per chi magari deve attendere che la neve lasci spazio alla primavera, abbiamo inserito una decina di altre strade e luoghi altrettanto meritevoli di una visita. Perché non ci stancheremo mai di ribadire che non è soltanto una questione di destinazione finale, ma di esperienza.

For this new volume we made a choice that brought heart and brain together, giving top priority to high altitude, an aspect that characterizes Switzerland more than any other. In addition, a bit as if it were a bonus for those who perhaps have to wait for the snow to give way to the summer season, we have included a dozen other roads and places equally worthy of a visit. Because we will never stop reiterating that it is not just a question of final destination, but of experience.
